St. Lucie Lock

The dock and attached campground are nice, picturesque, and serene. We reserved a boat slip for the night at the St. Lucie Lock Dock on the recreation.gov website, paid $30 for the night. It is a few hours from Indiantown Marina and a great stopping place along the canal. We woke up early for a morning lock opening. I informed Lockmaster that I was solo sailor and they put me on the north wall and gave me time to run long lines on bow and stern.
