Great anchorage on the west side of the ICW, south of St. Lucie Inlet, with easy dinghy access to ocean beach. The anchorage gets busy on weekends and the elevated platform in the middle of the anchorage becomes a party center. There is shoaling in the north and south side of the anchorage.
Jimmy Graham Park and boat launch is one mile south. Cycling distance to groceries Publix, UPS Store in Hobe Sound, Florida. Bought a water key off amazon and got water at the Park bathroom.
Martin County has a Marine Waste Pump Out boat that visits the anchorage once per week. Here is their website. It is a great service and shows real commitment to the environment by Martin County.
On nights with light wind- there can be mesquites and no-see-ums which can make you want to seal up your boat.
